Annual Chapter Meeting
June 25, 2023 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
On June 25 from 5-8 pm at Antelope Park Open Picnic Area we will be having our annual meeting where we will have some food, announce the results of the steering committee election, and DSA’s “Strike Ready 2023” campaign.
This national campaign from DSA stands with UPS Teamster members who may strike in August. If we adopt the “Strike Ready 2023” resolution, we’ll commit to the campaign by running elections for two Solidarity Captains who will work with DSA’s labor committee and UPS Teamsters. Additionally, we will familiarize members with the campaign, encourage members to sign the Strike Ready Pledge, run a fundraiser, canvass for support, and support actions taken by the UPS Teamsters. We’ll vote on adopting the “Strike Ready 2023” resolution at the meeting. Reach out to us with any questions regarding the resolution or if you have interest in being a Solidarity Captain.
